The Quanta Terra Wine Society began in 1998 when winemakers Jorge Alves and Celso Pereira began to select ideal soils, locations for vines, analyzing: grafts, different exposures, altitudes, slopes, grapes and more for their new wine project. After a long selection process, Alves and Pereira chose 2 vineyards, located in Douro Superior. These 2 vineyards met all their specific demands to produce the quality and caliber of wines they knew the Douro could produce.
