Winemaker Maria Serpa Pimentel has created these wines to showcase the house style of Quinta da Pacheca.  She does this always keeping in mind the image of this classic Douro producer.

Tasting Notes Featuring an intense red color and a nose rich in floral notes, black fruit and delicate hints of spice. The palateshows a hint of chocolate and vanilla from oak aging. Dense structure that is complex, where the tannins are revealed and the polished palate denotes ripe red fruit and spice.
Vinification/Maturation It was made in traditional open stone tanks “lagares” and trodden by foot. Aged for 3 months in french oak barrel.
