Adega Mãe Alvarinho 2014

AdegaMãe sits on the western strip of the territory and everything about it ties back to the defining conditions of the region. The nearness of the Atlantic Ocean and the nature of the soil itself allow for the creation of decidedly original wines, showing a refreshing natural acidity and a mineral character. The Mono-Castas (one-grape) wines are created to showcase the atlantic terroir through the varieta’ls unique expression.

Tasting Notes Lemon yellow color. Grapefruit, lime and a slight note of honey. Very attractive and intense. Ambitious and fresh finish.
Vinification/Maturation Total destemming, skin maceration, light pressing, cold decantation, fermentation in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature (15-16ºC), for 15 days. In batonnage for 6 months.
