Quinta das Bageiras Red 2012

At Quinta das Bágeiras we look for above all quality and character. To find this, we adopted a minimalist approach to oenology, creating wines that are as natural as possible, so they can express the terroir where they were born. Quinta das Bágeiras wines have great longevity in common, whether it be red, white or sparkling.

Tasting Notes Made with 100% Baga. Notes of wild macerated fruits, lots of spices, and present tannins that are well-balanced. With a long long finish.
Vinification/Maturation They are fermented between 5 to 8 days in open winery and without destemming. Then a reassembly is done with wood masses several times a day until they reach the correct intensity. Afterwards, the wine finishes the fermentation in old wooden barrels. While it rests it is cleaned and it stays in the same barrels about 18 months. It is bottled without any glue or filtration. All these processes are done manually
