Elpídio Martins Semedo was the founder of the cellar on the estate. We honor him and his contribution with one of the most emblematic sparkling wines made in Portugal. A singular reference of our house which tells the story of our dedication to quality production and entrepreneurship. A classic sparkling wine that always impresses its drinker with its sophistication and
character.

Tasting Notes Elegant aroma, with fresh white peaches and other fruit notes, a slight hint of dried fruit and minerals. In the mouth, the acidity feels focused on citrus fruit, enveloped by creamy bubbles that lead to a long finish that is full of character.
Vinification/Maturation After the second fermentation in the bottle, the wine is aged in cellars on the yeast for a period of 24 to 36 months at a constant temperature of 12 ° C giving it the perfect balance of weight, taste and elegance. Remuage for 2 months before disgorging the yeast and the addition of a small amount of expedition liqueur to finish the wine.The wine is bottle aged for 2 months before releasing into the market.

Grapes coming from the countries of São Lourenço do Bairro,Vilarinho do Bairro and Ventosa do Bairro, grown in sandy clay soils, with a planting density between 3500 to 4500 plants perhectare are trellised using Guyot upward pruning.
