Tasting Notes Concentrated aroma, with notes of wild berries with a floral nuances and a touch of spice. Full and round in the mouth, with soft tannins from the well integrated wood, revealing a persistent and complex finish.
Vinification/Maturation Manual grape harvest for 20Kgs cases, grapes are destemmed, temperature controlled fermentation in steel vats at 27ºC. After malolactic fermentation, the wine matured for 12 months in young French and American oak casks.

Terroir

Grapes harvested from S. Lourengo do Bairro, Vilarinho Bairro and Ventosa do Bairro, created in sandy clay soils, with a planting density between 3500 to 4500 plants per hectare. Using Guyot upward training. The vineyards are monitored throughout the growing season, from pruning to harvest, ensuring a high quality production of wine and health, ranging between 7 and 10 tonnes per hectare.
