Tasting Notes Aroma of ripe fruits surrounded by delicate floral notes and blackberry jam. The palate is savory, with velvety tannins surrounded by a light acidity, revealing a balanced and attractive finish.
Vinification/Maturation Manual grape harvest for 20Kgs cases, grapes are destemmed, temperature controlled fermentation in steel vats at 27ºC. After malolactic fermentation, 80% is aged in stainless steel vats with the remaining part for 6 months in american oak barrels.

Terroir

Grapes harvested from S. Lourenço do Bairro, VilarinhoBairro and Ventosa do Bairro, created in sandy clay soils,with a planting density between 3500 to 4500 plants per hectare are conducted with Guyot pruning upward. Thevineyards are monitored throughout the growing season, from pruning to harvest, ensuring a high quality production of wine and health, ranging between 5 and 7 tonnes per hectare.
